ScouteX does not take its platform fee from the student-athlete. Companies pay a 4% ScouteX fee when they post an NIL deal.
NIL safety warning: Be cautious of predatory agents, recruiters, marketers, or anyone promising guaranteed scholarships, paid deals, roster spots, rankings, or exposure in exchange for fees, private information, exclusive control, or rushed signatures. Athletes should not sign agreements or share payment/contact information without a parent/guardian, school, coach, or qualified advisor reviewing it. Report suspicious outreach to ScouteX.

Payments
How ScouteX Takes Payments
ScouteX is built to support secure subscription checkout, NIL platform fee payments, billing status tracking, and admin-controlled payment oversight. Payment processing connects through Stripe, while admin review keeps NIL fees, subscription access, and compliance workflows accountable.
Phase 1 NIL payment model
Companies pay ScouteX only the 4% platform fee. Athlete payouts are not automated yet and are tracked manually for tax, parent, and admin visibility.
Stripe-ready subscriptions
Athletes, parents, schools, trainers, facilities, colleges, and NIL brands can be connected to secure checkout flows when Stripe keys are enabled.
NIL platform fee
For Phase 1, companies pay ScouteX a 4% platform fee when creating NIL deals. Athlete payments are tracked manually until marketplace payouts are added later.
Admin payment oversight
Admins can review subscriptions, NIL platform fees, unpaid fees, payment status, and manual notes from the payment dashboard.
